I Heart Faces - Vroom, Vroom

This week at I heart faces the theme is "Vroom Vroom" you must include a vehicle in your photo, along with a human face of course.

This was taken when we were leaving the beach this summer. Sam Is a BIG girl (don't you know) she can climb up on the car and climb thru the back window into her seat on her own, who needs doors when you have a big open window? Crazy 5 year olds.

I Heart Faces - My Summer in photos

This week at I heart faces, is a week off, which means that you can post more then one picture for this entry, and its just for fun no judging. So this summer was a little different for me. I became Unemployed for the first time in 10 yrs, the Friday of July 4th.

Before I got "Laid-off" One very good thing happened this summer, well besides me turning 30, we will just forget about that. I finally after almost 10 yrs together got engaged!! Yea!!!

We had our annual summer picnic the Saturday after I got "laid-off".

 We have it at Carrie's club. She is an archer. Last year she taught us all how to shoot arrows. This year we got taught how to shoot a rifle.. Kinda.. Here I am trying..

Then Damien's Cousin Got Married. It was a beautiful day outside and that's a good thing as they got married in a park!

Summer has been good all things considering. I am so ready to go back to work though, I hope I find something soon. In the meanwhile I will take the fun times when they come.. and be there for my girls as they are there for me!

I Heart Faces - Photojournalism

This week at I heart faces the theme is Photojournalism. Now I'll be the first to admit I wasn't quite sure what this meant.


           So Basically it is using a photo or a series of photos that tell a story. Here's My entry

My Cousin got married on the 28th, It was a beautiful ceremony, and great party. The reception was at Marigold manor . It was very nice. They had another wedding in the next room over. And Both Brides met each other in bathroom. the other bride and her bridal party came over for a dance or two at our party. 


It was great! The best part is that the brides had almost the exact same dress on..just a couple slight differences.

Incompetent Pharmacies - Edited with an update

After what happened in may, I wasn't quite ready to try again, When Damien Proposed we figured we would start after the wedding, or like a month or two before. Because really you won't show that early.

I have resumed taking my birth control pills. I have taken the same kind for years. When I first got my prescription renewed after it was safe to do so, it was the same kind I have had. Then last month they gave me a different kind. Different Packaging, Different Company. But assured me it was the same thing. Just made by someone else.

OK, no problem. This month, they gave me something else. Same company as last month, but less pills. I take a 28 day kind they gave me a 21 day kind. They said the last row didn't matter and you didn't need it. ok.. So I have been taking them for a little over a week and a half.

I noticed today that the back has an expiration date, and that date is 03/10! That is right, they expired about 6 months ago! What the .... So Now when we thought we were being protected. We really were not. So Now I have to tell Damien this, Call this stupid pharmacy and take a pregnancy test just to be sure.

I can not believe a pharmacy would give you expired medication. What happened if it was something more vital? Really? How incompetent can you be? I guess from now on I will have to check all the expiration dates on medication.

One thing is for sure I am sure changing pharmacies..

Update: Went to the pharmacy and they said they were sorry again and again, not only did they give me expired pills they also gave me the wrong dosage. I asked the pharmacy how this would affect the effectivness, they were'nt sure but gave me a free pregancy test to be sure.

they said if it was positive to call them because they will contact their lawyers in the matter. She was very nice about it all. and said she was sorry over and over. Well lo and behold I come home take the test and what do you know.. Positive..Here we go again! But this time I did not miss anything. I did nothing wrong but not look at the back of the stupid pills. Here we go again,, I hope this ends better then last time. I don't think my heart could last another heartbreak..

Edited for the second time:
I got a blood test on friday just to be sure. they called me today and told me it was negative. So guess it was a false positive..

I Heart Faces - Beach-Fun

                                          This week at I heart faces the theme is Beach Fun!

I have a couple good pictures for this theme as I just went to the beach about a month ago, For the first time in years. We had a great time. Me my Cousin Patti and her daughter my little cousin Sam, and our friend Carrie.

So much we have decided we should do it again next year. I have been looking over and over the pictures trying to pick just one. I have so many good shots from that day.

 I have decided on this one: We had just gotten to the beach and laid out the blanket, All I said was Smile Sam, and in classic Sam fashion she posed like this for me. I love her Smile, and how you can see all the sand around her and the water in the distance...

I Heart Faces - Got to wear Shades

This week at I heart Faces the theme is "Gotta Wear Shades" I took this picture of a ex-coworker last year at Ralph Wilson Stadium, Home of the Buffalo Bills, (Yea I know nothing to really brag about,watching the first pre-season game.. Ouch!)

It was a very hot day, and this was just after he was running around playing football.  If you look close you can see me in the reflection taking the picture.

Girls Day Out.

A little change of the blog look.. what do you think? I know I have not been a very good blogger lately but that is all gonna change.


So Yesterday Damien had a Stag Party in the Woods.. His buddy is getting married and he's an outdoorsy guy so they went camping for the day. He ended up coming home about midnight, 14 guys no where to sleep, he would rather sleep home.

So yesterday I had my Friend Carrie over..

 

We had a great time. She came over about 4, and we decided we didn't want to just hang out at home, so we went to Home Depot , as we are redoing our house and Carrie is very handy that way, so we went to price some things out. While out we decided we wanted to go see a movie, but with the regal being close to $9, we decided to go to the cheap shows to see Shrek: The final Chapter.

Though we didn't see it in 3D, it was still awesome! I love the Shrek Movies. Instead of paying close to $9 a ticket, plus popcorn and drinks, we paid $6 and that was for Admission, a small popcorn and a small drink. Not a bad deal at all!

While we were in the theatre waiting for the movie to start, who should walk in but.. Patty Sam and Rich!

The Movie as I said was really good, but we were still hungry so we went to Ruby Tuesdays after. I was never there before, but it was really good. After dinner we went back to my house and played a little Wii..by a little I mean 2 hours! lol.. We did not even realize until we looked at the clock.

All and All yesterday was a great Day.. Hope we can do it again soon!
