"My Story In Photos: Summer Edition - I Heart Faces Entry

This week @ I heart Faces it is a non-competitive week. Which means we will not be judged and its just for fun. Here is my Summer in Photos!



This summer started off with a Trip to our local NFL Team's the Buffalo Bills, Ralph Wilson Stadium for an afternoon. Which being my first time there was amazing..

Next was my little Cousin's First ever Dance Recital. And let me tell you nothing is cuter then 4-5 yr old's attempting to dance.





And how can it be summer without enjoying a Nice Pool on a hot day?









and of course some Trampoline Fun also!





And it Really Can't be summer without Family, Friends and Fun in the way of a Picnic!







Don't you wish everything was this easy? Just staring off into the distance without a care in the world.. Oh to be 4 yrs old again!

Happy 20th Birthday John

Technically tomorrow my youngest (step)brother turns 20 but we had a little party for him yesterday.. and of course it gave me a reason to take pictures!

My Brothers Awesome Present Wrapping Skills.. We always laugh that the boys don't wrap presents, at one point John wrapped something in a paper bag so Ron has him beat with wrapping a paper over the present with a rubber band..

Rest in Peace

R.I.P. Damien's Grandma.. I am sorry to say I don't really remember her name and while Damien was not the closest with his grandma for reasons we will not go into, it was still his last living grandparent. Kinda puts that green eyed monster from yesterday into perspective doesn't it. I feel for him even though I do not remember my own, as they both died when I was very young. I feel for his Mom Most of all, This was her Mother that passed away. May she rest in peace..

Green Eyed Monster

Did you ever have one of those days where jealousy rears its ugly head no matter what. Yeah that is me today.

I'm not sure why, But I'm feeling that pang everywhere I turn today. A coworker one of the 4 girls who work here gets treated "more like the guys" then myself and the 2 others. This shouldn't bother me but it does. I've always been the girl who doesn't want to be left out just because I'm a girl and now she is getting that treatment, me not so much.

It really should not bother me this much, after all this girl and me are friends. But really it's not her fault so I really cannot blame her. She gets to leave early to play sports with one of the owners, I get to leave early to watch his kid. She gets to go away to a convention, I never even get asked if I would like to participate. She gets all the perks of charity events with our local sports stars when they have extra tickets, I have been asked once in my 3yrs here and unfortunately that one time I had tickets to another concert, so I could not go.

I guess im also a little jealous of everyone else. I really don't know how everyone can afford to go on vacaction and going out every night. After I pay my bills and buy food for the week, I'll be lucky if I get through the week with any $$ left at all. That is with myself and Damien's Check. What am I doing wrong with my life that I can't even afford to go to the movies while other people can take a week off and go anywhere they want?

I'm sure this will all pass tommrow, but today I just feel like a horriable person. I should'nt be mad because other are able to save better then me. I should'nt be jealous of what they have, I should be happy with what I have. But at the moment it doesnt seem like much. I'm making all too much of these feelings today and trying my best to not let them show, even though at the moment for some reason all I want to do is cry.

Tommrow is another day, and will be better hopefully this Green Eyed Monster will go away, I really have no time for him today, or ever really! Who does?

3rd Annual Summer Picnic

We started a summer picnic 3 years ago, I think this year was the best one so far. Instead of having it at someone's house we had it at Carrie's Club. Carrie is a archer and she taught us all how to shoot as well as the little one's as our picnic is a family event. We had a bonfire and more food then we could have ever ate. It was a great time and I can't wait until next year.. Here are some pictures I took..

Patty, Rich and Sam came over to my mom's house before going to the picnic, they were picking me up and wanted to visit with my mom, Sam found some Pink Bubble wrap and I bet you can guess what she did for the next 10 minutes!
