Adventures in Babysitting

Have you ever seen that movie? Well that was me yesterday. I babysit 3 boys as I have mentioned in the past. They are normally very well behaved but you can't be good all the time everyone has their off day. and Oh boy was yesterday a Off day.

First you have to know Chris the smallest of the 3 loves to dress nice. He always wants to wear a shirt,tie pants and dress shoes. It is adorable for a 5 year old. A family member knowing his love for all clothes nice bought him a little tux which he wore to school yesterday. lol.. Now tell me how can you not love this little guy?




















His brother was at a friends house and when he got home he needed to do his homework and practice his spelling words for a test today. Chris was in the bathroom standing on a stool just looking at himself fixing his little tux. So I set up Andrew with his math homework and I hear water running.. So I go in there and Chris is standing there at the mirror and I see little bits of hair all over.. I said Chris what are you doing.. The typical 5 year old NOTHING.. Low and behold he somehow smuggled the scissors into the bathroom that he was using at the kitchen table earlier and decided to give himself a haircut! I caught him before he got too far but he did get some of it..

5 Year Olds! You never know what they will do! I have to watch them again tonight and you better belive there will be no scissors in reach!

I Heart Faces Entry

I was looking at the I heart faces contest entrys for this week, And I know I have a couple with no flash used, as the theme this week is "No Flash" . Please know I am a total beginner and have no clue how to get the "Button" for I heart faces on the side of my blog..Also i'm a day late so I'm not technically entered to win, but just having a fun all the same.

But here is my entry .. This is jason waiting on the sideline for his soccer game to begin. I was watching the boys (being him and his 2 brothers) while their parents had something going on and took the boys to their soccer game. Jason is a great kid! As his brother's are also. Wizrd of Oz Reveiw - Better Late then Never!

The Wizard of Oz play was in one word Amazing!


Unfortunately they did not allow pictures to be taken. I did sneak one on my phone at intermission.











The reason's I think this show was so cool :

1. I'm a HUGE fan of The Wizard of Oz. I was in my High school Play when I was a junior and was a munchkin. One of the ballerina ones in the begining when Dorothy gets to muchkinland.

2. They mixed in visual effects, like small pyrotectnics and movie elements. They had a big screen over some scenes and in the backround, so they infused movie images in with the actual play. Which made the play all that much better. For example when the house was taken to oz in the begining with the cyclone, they had the actress in the bed and a screen around her and showed the cyclone and things going around her. It totally enhanced the effect of the play. I wish I was able to take pictures because it's hard to explain but definatly worth seeing if it comes to your town.

The costumes were amazing and the ToTo was so cute and well behaved. Yes they had a real dog onstage with her. It was so cute the dog just sat there and followed them along and did not bark until instructed to.

I think another good part of this play was the munchkins in this play were played by little Girls (Ages 8-12) from a Local Dance Company. Which was cute. They did an awesome job!

Yea. It's Finally Friday, Even though this week seemed to go pretty quick. Nothing as exciting happening this week, Last week about this time I was getting ready to drive home from work for the David Cook concert.

Today I get out early again, which is nice. 2pm can't come soon enough. Work is so slow right now.

I have nothing planned for today, Maybe I will go buy Mario Kart for Wii.. I have wanted it for a couple of weeks but have been holding off. Then go home do some much needed laundry and just hang out the rest of the day at home.

Tommrow I am going to see Wizard of Oz (the musical)@ Shea's. It should be good, Me and my mom went and saw Wicked a couple months ago and it was a awesome show. Makes you feel sorry for the wicked witch of the west. So we figured when wizard of oz came we had to go see it. Will have my reveiw on monday.

Guess that is about it for today.

Taking this from Mrs.C , Sounded like Fun. So here is my 5 Random Unfortunately Shelly..

Unfortunately, Shelly,the left is comatose #1. (Oh No!!)

Unfortunately, Shelly is sad (Boy, mine are not too good so far!)

Unfortunately, Shelly takes on one problem too many and the result is murder and mayhem in the quiet city of Destin, Florida. (Since I live in NY, don't think this one's me..lol..)

Unfortunately, Shelly's hard plaster tits will not exhibit this behavior. (opps.. apparently this one is X-rated!)

Unfortunately Shelly was killed off without much fanfare. He wandered into the barn in his wetsuit and was not seen again until towards the end of the movie

Crab Legs,Casinos and David Cook what could be better??

Me and My Mom Before the Concert Started!



Friday was awesome! First Got out of work early, which is always a plus. Then it was off to the Casino 4 hours early for the David Cook Concert. I got ID'd no less then 4 times in the place. I know I look young but Geez~

We first went over to the buffet to eat as neither of us ate lunch yet. Let me tell you for $20 a person it was a little steep, But well worth it, My God the food! Started with Crab Legs, with butter and shrimp and moved on to baked Potatoes and stuffed crab and you name it they had it. We just sat there for like 1 an hour just eating and figuring out what we wanted to do next. So far this trip has cost me nothing as my mom has been paying for it all.

Then on to the casino, now neither of us are gamblers. We go in with $20 each, again my mom provided my $20. And played some slots. The Penny Slots to be exact. Now I usually have no luck and should have stopped while I was ahead, but we had plenty of time to kill so back in the machine it went. I was up to $68 at one point, On a PENNY machine! That is pretty darn good for only starting out with $20.

The Concert was next and in one word it was AMAZING! My god David Cook is a good singer, and he's not bad to look at either! Amazing Voice, Amazing ahem, Body , just perfect I tell you. He was so nice and personable. Talking to the audience. There was a total of 900 people there, The biggest so far on his solo tour. Which was mainly colleges but he did the casino in our town. That is one concert I would go to over and over again. If only to look at him! lol.. But he was an amazing singer too! Now on to some pictures.

My Best Friend from High School just had her second baby today, A little girl, now she has 1 of each and I have yet to have one..

Lately I dream of being a mom, I'm at that age where I thought I would be married and have a kid or two. I have always wanted kids, from the time I was small. Maybe someday soon it will be my turn for the mommy talk, and an adorable little blessing of my own. I know I would make a wonderful mom. I am great with kids. I hope it's not too much longer for me. Don't get me wrong I would defiantly prefer to be married first, But after 8 years and no ring i'm not holding my breath any time soon. I did however get a beautiful Diamond Necklace this year for our anniversary that is the first peice of jewerly Damien has ever bought me, So maybe next year. I know i'm only 28 going on 29 but I long for that wedding and the pitter patter of little feet. I know he wants kids someday too. Sigh.. I have time.. But I really would like to start by the time i'm 30 as I want to have at least 2 maybe 3, but we will see what I get ..

In other news I am going to see David Cook in concert tommrow night! I can't wait! I love American Idol and Cook was one of my favorites all year long last year. It should be good. I saw him at the American Idol Live 2008 concert and he was awesome but did not get to play nearly long enough, so this is all him no one else. I can't wait! I get to leave work early and head to the casino where he is playing with my mom, We will probably go early as we tend to get lost.. lol..
and eat at the buffet then on to the concert. Will Update Monday, Hopefully I have some awesome pictures also.

Color Splash

So.. I have an Iphone and it has this new application called Color Splash, basically you can use any picture you took with your phone and it makes the picture black and white and then add the color back in where you want. You can zoom really close to get the picture just the way you want it..Here are my attempts so far..

So Friday I decided on a change of look.. Actually Damien had a dream about me with darker hair and asked if I would ever do it.. So I said sure why not, It's only hair color right?! You can always change it .. So here it is..

Yes very different. I like it though.. and So does Damien and everyone else who has saw it. That is except my mom and step-dad.. Me and my mom are going to see David Cook next week and she told me to wear a bag over my hair when we go..Now i'm sure she was kidding but still hurt my feelings a little. Everyone else has nothing but good things to say about it. There are nicer ways to say you don't like something. Or she could have said it will take some time to get used to .. But whatever. I like it and that's all that matters!
