Shh.. It's a Surprise!

I am so excited. Our Friends from PA are coming up this weekend for a visit. I absolutely Love their little Girl Lexi, when me and my mom went up there at the beginning of September we had such a great time. I can't wait to see her. She gives the biggest hugs a tiny 4 year old can. The reason the post's title is Shh. It's a surprise, is I am not supposed to know they are coming.

They were supposed to come up next weekend for Halloween, they are still coming up next week also but Lexi did not have school and my mom and step dad went down to PA a couple weeks ago and I told them I was jealous I wanted to see Lexi too, so Michelle (Lexi's Mom) decided to surprise me and come up this weekend also. My mom told me because I tend to get snagged to babysit on the weekends and she did not want me to make any plans..

They are picking me up from work today when I get out at 2! I can't wait. But I will have to act surprised! So that means lots of new Lexi Pictures next week!

They have never been here before so the obligatory Niagara Falls trip and the fisher price store is in order and who knows what else! It's very hard to stay focused at work today knowing they will be here in 3 1/2 hours! YAY!!

You Capture - Technology

Now I have to admit this week was pretty hard..But here is what I came up with.

My Ipod, I just plug it into my computer at work and I can listen to my favorite stuff while getting my job done, makes the work day more enjoyable.


Gotta Admit, My 50 Inch TV gets a lot of use~


Honestly Besides work and the occasional girls night I don't really have a life, so I play my Wii a lot

Wordless Wednesday - Diabetes Care

This is Jason, one of the 3 boys I watch.. Who says you have to stop having fun when you have Diabetes. Esp. Being a 10 year old Boy! All you require is a time out of sorts to check to your sugar level and right back in the pool you go.

I Heart Faces - Pink Week

This week at I heart Faces is Pink Week. Mainly for Breast Cancer Awareness, Which kills many woman each year. Here's hoping they find a cure soon! So in honor of breast Cancer Awareness we are supposed to post Pink pictures, whatever way you want. I thought that this picture of Megan Joy that I took at the American Idols Live concert this year fit the theme. I think her Dress is as Pink as it gets..

My First Ever Blog Award

My Good Friend Mrs. C. over at Homeschool and Etc. gave me this Gorgeous Blogger Award. I very big thank you to Mrs. C for passing this along to me! Who knew when I started this blog,I would make such good friends from all over the world.

So the Rules are simple you are supposed to say 5 things that people wouldn't know about you then pass it on to 6 people. So here goes:

1. I Love to Read, I am mainly into Jodi Picoult at the moment, but I can read a huge book in a week or less if I'm really interested in the story.

2. I love music, When I was younger I was a HUGE fan of the backstreet boys and saw 7 concerts in 1 year.

3. I have had major issues in my family life from the age of 6 to about 18,mainly having to do with a Ex-Stepfather, But complicated things in life only make you stronger in the long run.

4. I am a hard loyal worker. I have never gotten fired from a job and always left on my own accord.

5. I am very shy actually. I can write so much more open then I can talk. I am getting better and more outgoing, But it takes me time to warm up to people.

October Storm 2006 Take 2

Here are some more picture's from the Oct storm of 2006 - You can see all the wires laying all over the street and All the tree's broken and bent.. These were all taken right outside my house..

Here are some of the Electric pole I mentioned Yesterday, It was old to begin with so when all the snow fell it pretty much cracked in half, luckily it did not fall before they were able to replace it.





All in All not a Fun week, But 3 years later I am glad I took picture of that day, To look back on. The forecast for this week is calling for snow, Let's just hope it holds off until after Halloween. That would be nice.
